 White Landscape

These are images depicting scenes of ordinary winter landscape in foggy, misty and dreamy atmosphere – they resembled random composition of pale shadows and vague silhouettes set against vast snowy environment. 

The photographs are taken in various physical and weather conditions, including that of snow-storms, cloudy days and on fast moving train. They captured the enormous transforming power of  snow-storm that turns simple and mundane landscape extraordinarily.

  Winter Scenery @ Jozankei Onzen Soaking in the mineral-rich, open-air hot spring bath while gazing at the snowy winter landscape is a relaxing and an unforgettable experience. Although, Jozankei onzen town is famous for its brilliant autumn fall colors. its aesthetic appeal during the winter season has it own delightful characteristics too.   The landscape of Jozankei Onzen is characterized by the meandering  Toyoshira River, which winds through the steep cliffs on both sides of the valleys as it passes through the town. Redefining A Fallen Icon Of The Bygone Era The tourists have long deserted this once iconic entertainment island with its 800m long manmade sandy beach. Indeed, the place have been deterioated over a long period with little commercial and retail activities left.  However,  a new group of users have quietly emerged and a new lease of life has gradually taken root –  the local community has returned  to redefine the place.  Nowadays, Odaiba beach has been transformed from a tourist-orientated commercialized development into a layback local hideout.
